Sat. Feb. 12 (Rain date is Feb. 26th)
12 Noon to dark

2 soups: One vegetarian and one chicken-based vegetable soup.

Jessica Prentice of stirringthecauldron.com will teach winter vegetable soup making over a fire on Sat. Feb. 12th. (rain date is Sat. Feb. 26th) Beginning at 12 noon, folks will learn the basics of making stock, preparing soups from winter vegetables, eating seasonally.

We will have two fires much like the photo above, each with it's own cauldron of soup. (We have one from Andy's grandparents, and our neighbors have one they will lend to us.)

We are limiting this class to 25 people.

Bring farm-tour shoes, 1 cutting board, your favorite kitchen knife, an apron, and a container to take home soup.

Please email us if you're interested in this class. Thank you.

I'll contact you about this if you've called or emailed: I'll be contacting folks mid January. On Feb. 10th there were 4 spots left.. -julia
