Picking Tomatos

Upicks:

Andy about the Upick days:

Dogs can be great, but please don’t bring yours to the u-pick day. Children sometimes feel threatened by dogs and I don’t want to be responsible if someone’s dog gets into a fight with someone else’s dog. Also, dogs can do a lot of damage in the tomato and pepper patch, and the sight of a dog peeing on a tomato plant doesn’t do my sales any favors.

Please bring a hat, plenty of water and sunscreen. We will have cardboard boxes for sale, but you’re encouraged to bring your own bags, boxes or crates.

Directions: Hollister

2009 Dates: Sept and Oct Saturdays: many but not all of them. Maybe a couple of August Saturdays too, maybe a weekday or two as well. stay tuned! Andy will post/confirm dates when he sees the true tomato avalanche upon us.

Notes:
We'll have some other produce picked and for sale at the farm.

Ladybug Farm Buying Club

Special Deliveries to your Community:

When we have 'too many' tomatoes, padron peppers, corn, other kinds of peppers, or other goodies, we will email you when we're going to show up in a driveway or in front of a restaurant. Sign up for those alerts! I've put Palo Alto/Peninsula and SF together since there is crossover, and I've put Santa Cruz County and Monterey Counties together. Sign up for the one that's right for you; if I'm going somewhere that's not convenient for you, delete that particular email!
