Where does the money go?

from 2003: from Jeanne: We are raising our prices this year, for the first time since we became Two Small Farms. It is not something we do lightly, as we want our vegetables to be accessible to everyone. However, many of our costs have risen significantly (including fuel prices and workers compensation to name a couple) and our field workers deserve a raise. By setting the price at $20 per box instead of $18, we'll also be able to give you more high-value items (like salad mix and fruit) while still maintaining a good mix of other vegetables in your boxes. from Julia: This year we gave pay raises on both farms, are bringing an even wider variety to the box, and continue to offer excellent customer service, including many farm events throughout the season, even in the winter!
