Day at the Farm Event Shop — Ice-Dyeing Workshop Nov 12th
Holiday Gift Giving Workshop
Saturday, November 12th
12:00 Noon to 4:30 PM
If you have taken this class and loved it, this is a change to make another gift for yourself or gifts to give at the holidays. This workshop will teach you the basics on how to ice-dye. Instructor Starr Linden will guide you through the folding techniques and color selections so that you can leave the event with a beautifully dyed masterpiece. See how easy it is to achieve the nuanced shading, unpredictable and complex effects that have made ice dyeing a popular activity. While we wait for the ice to do its magic we will enjoy a light farm lunch made from our Mariquita veggies followed by Lavender Labyrinth activities and walk. Come join the fun at Mariquita Farm in Watsonville!

Holiday Gift Packages for Mailing Direct
Preparing for the holidays and/or need to mail a host gift or birthday gift? We have a limited number of unique Mariquita Farm gift bags and boxes to order for yourself or that special person in your life. Choose from a Savory, or Nourishing or one of our two Birthday or Host gift box with or without our one of a kind ice-dyed canvas Gift Bags. Each ice-dyed canvas gift bag has a special array of colors guaranteed to brighten any adventure! Check out the details of the contents of each gift box in the descriptions below. And, for an extra shipping and handling charge (included in the price listed for these “Mailed Direct” gifts), we can have these gift boxes mailed via USPS directly to you or the lucky recipient of your choice to anywhere in the lower 48 states. We cannot guarantee the arrival date of your gift. But, if you’d like your gift to arrive at the recipient’s before Christmas, Hanukkah or Kwanzaa, our last shipping date will be December 16th. Please be sure to select the pick up location in the drop down menu at check out — there’s only one option which is to mail to the address you provide.

It’s a Merry Mystery Thursday in Berkeley!

We are excited to have a special Merry Mystery Thursday with Holiday gifts and some of your farm to fork favorites like Fuji Apples, Meyer Lemons, Persimmons, Butternut Squash, Chayote, and beans that are perfect for winter soups to come! There will be an assortment of curated gift bags and boxes available as well as á la carte gifts such as culinary herbs, teas, dried flowers, marmalade and pickled goods. Our famous Mystery Box will be one big Mystery, we can promise it will be fresh, delicious and full with nourishment! These favorites, mystery boxes, holiday gift packages and more are all available for pre-order and pick up at our Berkeley location on Thursday, December 15th.
Some items are limited in quantity so place your order sooner rather than later, and definitely before Tuesday, December 13th, at 6 pm. As soon as you submit your order, you will automatically be sent an email with an order confirmation. The day before delivery, we’ll send you another message with directions to the pick up site, pick up site protocol, and the pick up window. Place your order today and pick it up in Berkeley on Thursday, December 15th between 4:30 and 6:30pm.
