Confetti Rose Petals are used in many ways from weddings to baths, sachets to teas, rosewater to baking, and in candle making and other crafts.

This year we are offering a collection of farm treats from Mariquita Farm and our neighbors at Belle Farms and Fruitilicious Farms. We have created a gift bag which includes Belle Farms olive oil, Apple/Quince Jelly, rose petals and a selection of herbs and herbal infusions.

Yuzu is a knobby-skinned citrus fruit, with a floral aroma and tangy tart flavor. According to an article in the The New Yorker, "Yuzu is thought to have originated in China, but the fruit is most closely identified with Japan, where it is one of the nation’s essential aromas and flavors. It’s a key ingredient in ponzu sauce, the tangy blend of yuzu juice and soy sauce that often accompanies cold noodles or fried pork cutlets. It also lends zing to highballs, seasons potato chips, and is a favorite flavor for candy." It can also be 'staggeringly expensive' in some areas (like NYC) at $15 to $20 per pound. We are offering it for $20 per five pound bag.

Mariquita Farm "Culinary Herb Collection" includes Oregano (15 g bag), Sweet Marjoram (10 g bag) and Thyme (8 g bag) -- perfect for seasoning your tomato sauces! The herbal oils in our herbs are preserved longer by not crushing the herbs prior to package. Crushing or bruising the herbs releases the flavor and aroma in the plant oil and should be done right before use.
