A member of the mint family, this particular mint is loved most by cats, hence the name catnip. Put the dried leaf into cat toys or make a tea for your mature kitty to enjoy. Some say it is best given to cats occasionally so that they do not become desensitized to its effects, but our kitties seem to take a whiff sometimes more than once a day.
