Join us at Mariquita Farm for a series of five workshops, Coming Home to Self. Mariquita Farm nests at the edge of Corralitos on a 20 acre parcel. The farm overflows with roses, citrus, cacti, flowers and a variety of vegetables. At the heart of the property sits a lovely lavender labyrinth. All workshops include a journey in the farm’s 110’ diameter Medieval Labyrinth filled with over 3000 lavender plants. AND each participant will get to harvest 3 bundles of lavender to take home.

You are welcome to bring a snack or lunch to enjoy on the grounds at the end of each workshop. The farm store will be open where you can find lots of unique gifts, crystals, and food items. We appreciate payment in cash and also accept Zelle and Venmo.
Terrain is hilly and uneven, and contains a lot of cactus, please come dressed with good shoes and layers.
Gates open at 9:30 AM for registered guests only. Each workshop is from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Note: Please arrive at the start of the event with time for parking. We will all begin together at the start of the workshop.
NOTE: This event is for ages 16 and older accompanied by an adult. Please do not bring pets. Pets cannot be kept in the car. The farm’s address in Corralitos will be sent with the ticket purchase confirmation.

May 16 ~ Hearing– A Sound Bowl Walking Meditation
*** Amber Michele is an art teacher, yoga instructor and intuitive sound practitioner who works with crystal singing bowls and voice to create deeply immersive healing experiences. Self-taught in her practice, she plays from a place of presence and inner guidance.
With training in voice and vocal toning, Amber resonates deeply with the power of sound as a pathway for healing, regulation and connection, inviting others to soften, receive, and return to themselves through vibration.

June 6 ~ Tasting- A Tea Ceremony & Herbal Infusions
***Kelly Marie, creator of ARTNZEN, will bring the magic of drinking Tea to the Table. Kelly is a cultivator of consciousness and awareness and she believes that you can support health, wellness and vitality though the spirit of Tea. Her passion for Gong Fu Cha – Tea Ceremony & Service began in 2010 and developed as an opportunity to support others. Lifestyle, Diet and Practice all come together when we embark on the journey of understanding the benefits of bringing tea into our lives.
Kelly Marie has been living in the Santa Cruz Mountains and leading Tea Ceremonies since 2010. You can find her at her shop in Moss Landing, “ARTNZEN,” where she provides all the essentials for the tea experience and more. www.Artnzen.com
***Tamara Johnson is a Rosarian and Herbalist who grows an abundance of beautiful roses and herbal delights at her Melliflora Farm in the hills behind Aptos. Tamara has a degree in Horticulture and has a certification from the American Herbalist Guild.
She will walk us into the garden of herbs and roses where she will give us an abundance of plant information and help us gather and prepare an Herbal drink experience that will bring joy to our lives.
June 20 ~ Touch: Yoga & Self Massage –Massage Oil & Lotion Creation
***Rosie Fry of Deer Brook Farms grows lavender, flowers and herbs on her 5.5-acre farm in Corralitos. Over the years she has been creating potions and lotions with herbs and flowers from her farm. She is very passionate about teaching others how to make their own organic all natural skin care products. deerbrookfarms.com
***Amber Michele brings her knowledge of yoga and self massage to the farm. Amber teaches heart-centered, gentle yoga as a pathway home to yourself – an unfolding, a remembering, a return to your own inner sanctuary.
As a 300-hour registered yoga teacher, she brings her years of experience as a yoga teacher; trained under Hannah Muse, she holds space for softness, healing and deep connection.
We will also explore the added value of self-massage. Through guided techniques we can learn the benefits and steps of how to massage our own bodies, stimulating circulation, soothing the nervous system, and nourishing the skin.
This is an invitation to slow down and reconnect through touch, allowing the body to soften, ground, and return to a state of balance. The healing that self-mediation and massage provides in this experience will be revealed.
July 11 ~ Smelling- Herbs and Lavender Bundling
***Starr Linden will take us on a journey though the many herb and flower gardens on the farm where we can learn more about the harvesting of herbs and lavender to create our own kitchen herb wreaths, hangings and bundles, bringing amazing aromas and beauty into our homes.
The beds of herbs and lavender are overflowing at Mariquita Farm. Seeing and smelling the full beauty of a 3000 lavender planting surrounded by herbs will bring joy to your heart. You will hear the humming music of the bees as they work in the flowers gathering nectar and birds will be singing in the trees. Mariquita.com
August 8 ~ Seeing- Flower Bouquet Creations
***Starr Linden of Mariquita Farms has been growing flowers and creating flower bouquets for weddings, events and local sales for many years. Mariquita Farm grows and sells an abundance of beautiful stems to local wholesalers, florists and neighboring venues. A unique and interesting variety of items are sent to the LA Flower Market where florists are looking for something out of the ordinary.
